An Artful Life/Louise Bourgeois




Louise Bourgeois died on Monday May 31, 2010.

I remember seeing her work in and outside the Tate Modern in 2007 and in 2002, a 30-foot tall Spider in Downtown Cleveland, Ohio,
That same year, The Cleveland Museum of Art paid 1.4 million dollars for Blind Man's Bluff. (see below)

  1. I saw some of her work in a Berlin exhibition today - with even more awareness since now for certain there won´t be more...

  2. Some years ago we were on a trip to NYC with students and we visited a foundry. They were working on one of the giant spiders with Louise. I would love to have met this exceptional woman and artist.
