Good morning

The sun is out, birds are singing, can Spring be far behind?
Time to pull out a piece I started in the fall and complete this work.

    1. I want to work in both large and small scale. I think the large scale is more powerful.

  2. This is so beautiful, particularly the last picture. Large IS powerful, particularly with the white stitching. I don't think I will ever tire of what can be done with this simple stitch. Lovely!

    1. Agreed. The humble single stitch, or running stitch or whatever it is called. Finding my voice by using these simple stitches is akin to Dorothy in the Wizard of Oz finally learning that home was always with her with a click of her ruby red slippers.

It is the yarn sold by Beautiful Silks in A.U. http://www.beautifulsilks.com/cubecart/index.php?act=viewProd&productId=204
      Yarn #5. 70% wool/30% cotton.
Comes in a hank with 4 strands. I separate the threads and use 1 or more as I stitch.

    1. Perhaps a few more stitches and it will be done. Let's see what the linen-muse says.

ps. My niece owns a salon and gave me a free mani/pedi as barter for graphic design work I did.

  10. Beautiful...! So spontaneous like pencil drawn lines...!
I find it so interesting that overlapping lines created sense of space. Some horizontal lines seem behind the vertical lines and some others front of them. Thank you for sharing, love your works!
